new ccw here:)
i just got a new G26 yesterday havent got to shoot it yet cant wait it will be my primary ccw for summertime i looked at the taurus mil pro's and xd sc, m&p , and the kahr's before deciding on the 26 it felt good in the hand especially with the peirce grip pinky extention and theyre is such an abbundance of aftermarket accesoriesfor the gun, plus i already had a g19 so compatability with 9 mm mags and my g19 has been reliable ive read by and large good things on the 26/27 for concealment, accuracy, reliability . any one on here carry the 26/27? whats your expiriences? what type of holsters do you find easiest to ccw the gun in?
Well hell yes its dangerous if it wasnt i wouldnt be carrying it!

Congrats on the new purchase, i dont carry a glock but all my holsters are strongside or IWB they seem to work the best, but like the rest of us you will end up with a drawer full of what doesnt work....... enjoy the ride and hold on

Congrats on the weapon! I have the g26 and I love it! I tend to carry it in either a C-TAC or a bladetech kydex slide (came with the gun), both of which are IWB. I, also, use the pierce pinky extensions and I offer a word of advice; practice equally 1 handed as 2 handed. The reason for this is I found that with a firm grip and the pinky ext. I would do fine 2 handed but when I would shoot 1 handed my pinky would torque down the muzzle. I believe the reason for this is that since the 26 w/ ext. has room for your pinky but not for the opposing portion of your palm, a firm grip leads the pinky have no opposing pressure. Thus downward torque. Maybe this won't be the case for you but since it was for me, I advise practicing both equally.
(heck I always recommend practice 'cause its fun!)
Enjoy the gun...It's easy like sunday morning!

Congratulations on the new gun. The G26 is my summer primary carry weapon ( summers in Vegas get hot!!!!!), or when I'm at work. I usually pocket carry, with a Desantis Nemesis holster. It works really well, since I'm a pretty big guy. Good luck, I know that you'll enjoy the gun.
