    Well I did it....

After much delberation and much thought I joined the 10mm Retarded club. Picked up my G23 yesterday. Went through the Dummy ammo can at work picked out a mixture of Frangible, Hydroshok, Ball, EFMJ, GoldDot, Golden Saber and probably somebodies home made reloads. Ran 40 rounds of Skittles ate everything fine including all the cartridges that had light primer strikes on them, (for some reason i'm finding alot of those) and was very accurate.

Yeah we have this range vacuum that sucks up brass lead dust and everything but before we vaccum we pull up all the dummies that fell forward of the line, and anything else people left. Last night somebody left a 17 rd G17 mag, and a 30 rd AR mag just forgot it.

I didn't have any Light primer strikes just the ones in the can did.

If I bought a Glock, that's the one I would get.
Too much kick on the G27 in my opinion. Congrats.

Can't go wrong with the G23.....I had to buy two! My wife absconded with one of mine, so I had to buy another to get mine back. Of all the Glocks I have the 23s are my favorite.

(p.s. Rob99VMI04- thanks for the holster, it works fine!)

    Congratulations on the new pistola!

I hate to admit this but I got handed my hat one evening in a bar brawl by a short and wimpy looking salor! SHEESH!

    Never underestimate the .40 S&W!

    I carry a Glock 23 and Glock 27 loaded with Cor-Bon DPX!

I think the G23 is just about the perfect carry gun.

But, as I carry one all the time, I may be a tad biased.

I love mine. Welcome to the club.

Light primer strikes could have came hot reloads. The primer flows back into the firing pin hole. I been there - Done that! I love my 10mm 1911. The 10 mm has a bad rep but it is a great round that will easily beat the 357 mag. I carry Win 175 gr silvertips in mine.
