Thumbs up This Guy Makes Some Unusual Grips

The first time I've ever seen Damascus Steel Grips for a 1911 pistol.
Lots of other really nice personalized custom grips.
Mammoth Ivory - Exotic Woods - and neat synthetics.
It's well worth taking a look.

Nice. While it well worth taking a look, I might spend money I don't really need to.

Love the look of Damascus .. most unusual and fetching.

Or - could that be a synthetic, moulded to take on that patterning maybe. Like it whichever.

I met this maker at a gun show in Richmond, Va....his business card is sticking out of my desk draw as a type this.......

He also sells some of these on Ebay....although he told me that if you want the best grips he makes, call him or check out his web sight.

He has a large selection & makes a quality product. Also, a very nice young man.

Well, you know some nice steel Damascus patterned grips are going to add a bit of Carry Weight to that 1911.

There is some nice work on that site. (Also some weird stuff, but even that looks like quality work.)

When I met him, he had not finished the Damascus grips, but he did have a set of the blanks that he was using & they were HEAVY.

His stuff looks good, but the wood ones don't look as good as the ones CopperKnight made for his Firestorm. I'm still trying to convince him to make some for my Springer. Seriously. Maybe I ought to PM him so he knows I'm serious.
