How many P228's should a guy have?
Hello, my name is SIXTO and I am a Sigaholic.
I did it again, I brought home another 228. This one makes three 228s. I dont know why I need three, but I do.
The latest is pristine. It has never been carried, and it looks new. It honestly is the best looking 228 I have seen in years.
I had to have it, so its now in my collection.
I picked it up for 390! I almost felt guilty, but then again, I didnt set the price. I paid a little more for one in Feb., and it was not nearly as nice as this one.

SIXTO, the P228 is the only Sig I truly love. I own a bunch more Sigs but they just aren't P228s. That was a great price you paid and if I were offered the same I would own two! Regards, Richard

It's kinda like asking how many 1911's a guy should have.
My theory is if you have enough to overthrow the UK you may have to many.
Besides this thread is worthless with out pics
"[T]he people are not to be disarmed of their weapons.
They are left in full possession of them."
Zacharia Johnson (speech in the Virginia Ratifying Convention,25 June 1778)"The best we can hope for concerning the people at large is that they be properly armed."

IMHO You can NEVER own to many weapons ever., Especially when it comes to Sigs.

You need to stop this destructive behavior now, your addiction is hurting you and all those that care about you.
How many Sigs did you have yesterday? Be honest.
Do you have a Sig before you do anything else in the morning, before you feel 'ready to deal with the world'?
Have you ever had a Sig without telling anyone?
If you can answer yes to any of these questions then you are in need of help, and I have the program that will save your life.
It is a condensed 12 step program, I always felt 12 steps were unnecessary, mine is a 3 step.
1. Transfer all the Sigs to me.
2. Shave your head and go to rehab.
3. Replace all the Sigs with small dogs in expensive purses.
Any time you get an urge to have a Sig after you are cured you should send the money to my charity, the 'Sig Recovery Foundation'.
And do not, under any circumstances, change your name to SIGTO, it will only remind you of the terrible curse of the Sig that used to hang over you.

$390?! That's a steal, indeed. The 228 is my favorite, as well. I dread the day that my issue one is finally replaced by a 229... Although, through 5 years of service (and untold thousands of rounds, hundreds of presentations from the holster, et cetera) I'm pretty sure I'll break down or wear out before it does...

A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Hmmmmmm, Now that I have finally gotten my 229, I should make a 228 my next quest! (If SIXTO hasn't already bought them all!)

Well, as long as your family is still eating you should be ok.
However, if you run out of room in your firearm safe, or just no longer feel the need for three, I'll make the drive to pick one up from ya, that way you save on shipping.

I seem to have stopped at six 226s.
Somehow I just don't need a seventh!

The 226 never really did anything for me. I dont know why, its a fine gun, it just doesnt float my boat. I love the 228/9 and 220.
I am going to sell one of the 228's today, I just dont know why I need three. I guess I'll add another G19. Those always get used and abused.
