Help with PPK
I need a little help with a Walther PPK (S&W). I bought a Wolff hammer spring pack to try and lighten up the DA a little, but I can’t figure out how to get the hammer spring out. Several of the other firearms I’ve changed hammer / mainsprings on have a small hole in the hammer rod that you can cock the hammer and then place a pin through the hole so that when you lower the hammer, the spring stays compressed and it’s easy to remove. No hole on the rod of the PPK and my normal compression trick isn't working. I can find no disassembly instructions on the web other than normal breakdown for cleaning, so if someone knows a trick for removing the hammer spring, I’d appreciate hearing about it. Thanks in advance.
