So who here is buying up all the Ruger LCP's...

LCP's are out of stock everywhere except for the auction sites.....

I thought I might put one on layaway but they are out of stock at Bud's and Grabagun. Out of curiousity I started checking other places and they are out of stock at loads of places. I guess just surge of buying or something...

I have one, wouldn't call it stockpiling. I would really like an LCP Custom

My wife is found of hers. Offered to get her another model and she has no interest.

Hmmmm. Just checked KTP (Kittery Trading Post) and they are out of stock, new or used.

Prices have been getting lower and lower on LCPs. That makes me wonder if Ruger has a newer version like maybe a striker fired LCP coming soon and the big distributors are dumping the old models before the new ones hit the market.

Yep. Every time the POTUS has a press conference about gun restrictions he would like to impose, expect a shortage of handguns and/or ammo shortly thereafter.

Three in my immediate family, all carried daily and fired at least monthly. All three have been flawless. Could the sales been driven by Remington's .380 market problem(s).

Hmm. The week before Christmas, Greentop offered me one for $249. Now they don't have any.

Ruger I suspect has all the lines going full time on the new American pistol getting ready for SHOT show. It used to be that the firearms company would announce at SHOT show and by years end most released something.

Glock with the 42 released on the start of SHOT show and did the same with the 43 ... They had excellent sales too.

So most of not all are doing the same as much as possible.

This was told to be by a distributor when I asked why I still could not find the Ruger precision rifle anywhere.

Someday. That’s a dangerous word. It’s really just a code for ‘never’.

See this is what I was wondering.....As long as the LCP has been out I just find it odd that all of a sudden the gun has become so popular that they can't keep them on the shelves.
