Nice catch, I shot a friend's 1991 Commander and I liked it a lot. The grips look like an older design by Herrett. I am sure one of John Taffin's 45s wear a pair of those grips. Regards, Richard

Thanks to all. I absolutely HATE the grips. In fact they're no longer on the pistol. I'm gonna look for a pair of basic double diamond grips. That way it can match it baby brother seen in my avitar.

    Thumbs up

That is one nice collection you have there. Currently I've got 2 Kimbers, 1 Springfield, and 1 Ithaca. No such thing as too many 1911s
