Talking How Much Money do you have in your shootin irons?

I know we have a bunch of Collectors and Dealer/Shooters here.
So please answer based on the handguns you carry/shoot on a
    regular basis.

I shoot all mine , and I estimate I have over $4K invested.

And all of them cost well under $1K apiece.

I / We are not serious collects, basically the wife and I are both hunters. So in 3 shotguns - 2 benellis and my old ithica, 4 pistols 2 cz's 9mm, wifes kimber my sig, 1 small caliber rifle and one deer rifle.. ummmm about 51/2k... or so. Hopefully now that the wifes shoulder has been fixed .. well add in another SBE for her and start a 3 gun competition setup for each of us.. hummmmm fun fun fun.

or perhaps since we just moved to a class 3 state.. a suppressed AR variant in say 45.. hummmmmmmm.. ok off topic sorry.

My collection is still young, although, I have noticed my purchase rate is significantly increasing. I'm in the 3-4k range.

    Really don't know, but should.

I know that I have over $5000 and probably closer to 10K tied up in firearms. I collect, what can I say? One rifle and scope alone is over 2 grand. Something I need to do and everyone should, is update my list of what I own, complete with serial numbers for insurance purposes. The rider I have with my home owners insurance covers firearms to $10,000. After that, who knows unless they were specifically listed separately and insured individually.

A quick figuring I have about $1000 in what I have currently. 2 shot guns, a .243 for Bambi, my two Rugers (.22 and 9mm) the 9 being my carry gun. If I get my way I will spend maybe another $1000 for a couple of more guns for carry after that . . .

I use to tell my wife I didnt have that much in weapons, till I had one shotgun my dad gave me apraised. That one alone put me over 10K and it will forever stay in the safe only to be played with rarely.

I don't even dare to think about what I have tied up in handguns alone. .......not to mention the rock-n-roll stuff.

Voted Lorcin (don't own one though), but now that I think about it $2000 is pretty close. I have a Sig 220, Kahr K40 Covert, Ruger MK II, Remington 550, Remington 870. Only one that has been modified is the 870 and it has been setup for HD. But I am only 21, newly married, college student so my ability to add new additions is incredibly limited. Once I start the police academy and we double our income I plan to start adding more guns at a steady pace.

I try to focus on buying the right gun 1st instead of wasting money on guns that may/may not work out. I've made that mistake 3 times so far and with all that money invested I could have bought 1 to 2 guns that I really want and know I love. Luckily the 2 I sold I was able to get most of my money back. Those mistakes really motivate me to not make rash decisions with my money and do alot of research.

Between the milsurps, tactical rifles, hunting rifles, target rifles,"assault weapons" and various handguns, I wish it was around 10K but it aint.
