    New Tungsten PPQ M2

Very excited to be adding a Walther to my list of weapons (on layaway to range/LGS)Since I am now a three brand owner, I'll need to spend more time in this forum rather than on the manufacturer specific forums:

I'll post a range report and comparison to my my VP9 and G19 when I get to shoot it. Won't bother comparing to USP9t, not really same category of weapon.

    Let it go!

    Walther themselves say you're incorrect.

I think you'll find that the PPQ can more than hold its own with guns of the same class or "higher".

Other than my G17 or G19, if I had the funds to really expand (specially in striker fired firearms) it would be the PPQ M2, P320Carry, VP9 and FNS9C. I have shot all four limited and really like each one.

I guess I get to chime in:

I have two Walther PPQs. I love them that much.

One is a 5" barrel and the other a 4" barrel:

Great guns. I'm looking for a walther PPS M2 next.

Was able to break my PPQ out of layaway jail much sooner than expected. Paid it off today and was immediately able to put 100 rounds through it (after a quick Ballistol treatment).

Very pleased with it. As I mentioned above I have a VP9 and a Glock 19 in this category of firearms. It is too early to make a call (I'm not for making quick judgments); however, it was an absolute pleasure to shoot.

Here are my second 50 rounds at a combination of 15, 21, and 30 feet.

    Trigger:
The trigger is by far the best of all three. The VP9 takes second, and the modified G19 takes a close third. On a side note: not even the Zev Fulcrum trigger kit could match the PPQ. I did have a couple of safe "surprises" with the Q. The reset is much shorter than what I am used to.

    Feel:
The PPQ matches the VP9 in every respect regarding feel in the hand. I have large hands and the standard blackstrap which was pre installed fit great.

    Shoot ability:

Every bit as good as the VP9. No learning curve at all. It does appear to have more felt recoil than either the G19 or VP9, but it could just be the fact I was getting pelted with brass by the jackass in the stall next to me and it was breaking my concentration.

    Looks:

The Tungsten Gray makes this the best looking pistol I own. Surpasses my USP 9 Tactical. Would have been a close call with the P30 I owned, but sold that two months ago to fund other purchases.

    Have a great day!
    Joey

This, when I get another Walther or HK I will have the paddle mag release. Once mastered it is the fastest reloading there is.

I like that they had the paddle release. It's what set them apart from the others. Now it see like all gun companies are in a race to create the same gun with all the same features...

If you think the trigger on the PPQ is good, you should press the P99 trigger a few times. You'll want one of those too.

    New Tungsten PPQ M2

I love paddle releases as well; however, I'm not convinced the PPQ pulled it off as well as H&K does. It is better than the small paddle releases on the USP, but falls short of the extended mag releases on the VP9 or P30.
