    Talking New One

My new carry gun arrived today. Purchased through GunBroker. I found a dealer who had four NIB P-245s and one of them came to live with me. Now I got to get some range time.

First thing (besides cleaning off the factory shipping grease) was installing a set of Trijicon Novak night sights.

I love my P245, it's my primary carry gun for cooler weather. I carry the spare mag from a P220 which fits perfectly just sticks out a bit and you can buy a grip extender for cheap. I put mepro-light tritiums on mine. Green dot front, yellow dot rear. I got the best deal on that gun I've ever made. Slightly used I traded a POS Springfield Armory micro-45 that was a Jam-A-Matic for this gun + $100.

$650.00 NIB. Still wrapped in the factory plastic bag with shipping grease all over it. Can't wait for it to warm back up so I can get to the range.

According to the owner's manual, 30 oz. with the empty magazine. Not a light-weight, but only 4 oz. more than my SA XD 40SC. And it feeeeeeels so good . Everything on it just feels and sounds solid, like a precision machine. I just hope it performs as well.

Got one about a year ago. Absolutely love it. Reliable. Accurate (+/- 2.5" @ 25yds...with my "old eyes"). Versatile (factory 6 rd or full grip length 8 rds. mags). It's a wonderful carry gun.

I liked mine so much, I found a used P220 to go with it. (And any holster that fits a non-rail P220 fits the P245 also!)

I love Sigs. And I really like the look of that P245. That seems to be a sweet carry gun.

Can't wait for that range report.
