    I'm officially addicted to pistols!

Today, I went down to my favorite gun store once again, just to look around. I handled a couple AR15s, a few .22s, and some handguns. Well I didn't walk out before putting a Glock Model 19 on layaway. The asking price was 549 NIB, I know it seems a bit high, but I'm willing to pay a bit more for a gun at a store that has great customer service. These guys really know their guns, and the guy that helped me even showed me how to take apart the Glock 19, most other gun shops, I've been to don't do that. Anyway, I'll officially be a Glock owner come June or July.

actually, $549 sounds about right. glocks-in-the-box run between $5-600 brand new. i'm not a big fan myself (the angle's all wrong for me), but there's no denying their worth. i might end up getting a g26 anyway, for practical reasons.

That's great. You will get many years of reliable service from your Glock.

Great--I'm sure you'll be happy with that Glock.

Now, order yourself a holster, since the wait times can be long for a custom holster.

I don't necessarily need a custom holster, I personally like OWB holsters, and I really like the Blackhawk CQC Serpa holsters, so thats probably what I'll end up getting.

By your screen name spyderdude, I am guessing that you may also be addicted to Spyderco. Are you also on the Spyderco forums? If so, I am also ront over there.

I currently do not own any Spyderco knives. The only reason why I have this name is because of the car I drive, which is a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder.

    Good Pick!

I think Glocks are like Potato Chips, you cant have just one. G17, G26, and my all around absolute favorite G20. Not to mention G17 I carry on duty.
