Everyone should own at least one J-frame but at that price you should get two.

Does anyone know how simple it is to fit a bobbed hammer in the 637?
and I paid a lot more than $215...that can't be a new price...

    Buy the gun...then trade up...

Its new in box... I just went and visited it today. Here's the kicker... I can get a new 442 for 300... and its what I want. By the time I bob the hammer etc., I am sure I will be close to the 300 mark anyway.
    SO, I bought a 442.
And yes, It is a tax write off...

Man, where are you getting these guns? I have a 442 (Pre-lock), & I agree. For $85 more, you got what you want.

For that price, go buy it now!!! Period. Replace the hammer with a bobbed version and keep the old hammer.

Good deal on the 442. I paid $399 for my 642 about two years ago. At the time I was looking for a 442 but couldn't find one. Still might not be a bad idea to grab that 637, it's almost too good to pass up.
