    Say hello to the newest member of the family!

    So I got a proverbial bug up my chimney and decided I couldn't live without a 1911. I was short on cash and decided I could live without my XD-9SC...so i traded it off along with an older model digital camera for this baby.






    It's a Colt Lightweight Commander XSE.

    Took it out to the range and right out of the box I shoot it more accurately than I ever shot my XD Subcompact, it just feels right in my hand.

    The moment I can get an appointment with an instructor I am going to add it to my CCW Permit.

    My favorite size! For some reason I find I like shooting the Commander more than a Govt. Personal quirk I guess but I sure love mine!

    Awh, she's a beauty! It will be more comfortable to conceal than the XD. IMO

    I'm not familiar with that line- does the "lightweight" mean the frame is alunimum and the slide steel? (the finish is different on slide from frame in the picture)
