Howmany made it to 136th NRA Convention?

I went with two friends on Saturday, man there was sure a lot of folks there.
I got to handle more guns than you could shake a stick at, my head is still spinning.
If you went I hope you had as great a time as I did, and if you didn't I hope you make plans to attend next year; to be held in Kentucky.

    My Best Regards

    Sniff, sob, sniff sniff.
    I didn't get to go.
I had it planned out to drive over, at least for a day. But my wife and oldest child got sick, so it didn't happen.

I went when it was in St Louis in 1989 and said I'd never miss another one. I haven't been back yet.

But it will be even closer to me next year!

Just wondering- Will it be the same weekend as Knob Creek?

My wife and I went down for the weekend and had a very good time. This was our second convention and really enjoy them. They are pretty overwelming. Am planning on next year.

Made it down there on Saturday morning, arriving around 10:15am. After waiting in line to register, entered the hall and was just amazed at the size and quantity of equipment and the wealth of information that was available. By the time I decided to leave, my hands were hurting from carrying all of the literature that I had picked up and wanted to review. I had a great time. Would recommend to anyone to try and make an upcoming NRA convention.

Probably the most anti part of the state. That's awesome.

    When?
May 16-18, 2008 (according to a Louisvlle business newspaper I found online).
    At the Fairgrounds/Expo Hall.

Which answers my own question about whether it will be the same time as Knob Creek. It won't. It'll miss by a month.
