    A bit old school but for a full-size gun to help with recoil have her hold a browning hi-power. Nice slim grip but double stack mag.

    Take a look at the SW M&P pistols, 3 different grip insert to change the feel and fit of the gun.

    Not plastic with grips she can get her hands around and enough weight to help with recoil. She likes the night sights.
