    New revolver

Decided to forgo the charter arms .44 special due to ammo costs. True that I could've hand loaded for it, but my loading rig is in storage right now.

I chose the Taurus Model 651 .357 Magnum - behold!

Trigger is pretty stiff. I'm headed to the range this morning to fire 150 rounds through it and see how it handles. I'm sure it'll be sweet. Got an IWB holster for it and it works quite well. I'm guessing the recoil won't destroy me since the gun is kind of heavy (definetly NOT an airlight!).

I have a Taurus 605 I've had about a year and a half. I love that little fella! Trigger.. nice and smooth, accurate as all get out. There seems to be a lot of Taurus bashers, I've only owned two. They have both been trouble free and great weapons after thousands of rounds. You might want to change out those grips for some Hogue's. They help keep a handel on the magnums. Nice gun!

I love my 605 and PT945. Also have the 6 shot revolver. The range where I shoot has a Taurus 9mm auto that has survived through 2 Berettas, and is still going strong! I hope the new toy is outstanding for you!

I shot 85 rounds today. Im glad I got the heavier gun.

Recoil is very managable. Gun is very accurate, but I will be replacing the grips as it is tough to get rapid followup shots.

Trigger is quite long and I failed to fully pull it back during rapidfire.

Overall Im VERY happy with the combination of caliber and performance.

Very nice. I recently got a S&W 638, which is their bodyguard model snub nose, which is now going to be my "everywhere" weapon when I can get the accuracy a little better . Enjoy.

One things for sure - it's already making me a better shooter.

I've got a taurus model 65 .357 w/ full underlug and 4" barrel for around the house. After just 3 cylinders through the snubby, I picked up the 65 for a few cylinders.

I put all my shots through the center of the target with ease! I have never shot my full size .357 like that. After having the benefit of the larger grip and bigger frame to take that recoil, it was almost like shooting a 9mm!

But the snubby really made me feel comfortable today - when I shot it at the range and I heard that BANG!, felt that recoil and saw that fire I knew I had a powerhouse on my hip that I could hit with and hit hard. It conceals good even with the uncle mike's IWB rig I got. It rides a bit high but overall it'll work fine until I can replace it.

Really happy with the wheel gun and the choice to move up from the .380.
