I am a pretty big 1911 fan. I have always preferred a 70 Series over anything else if I have a choice but love Kimber IIs and Colt 80s, 90s, etc. (and the 70 series is easier for me to work on obviously). Full size 5 inch is my favorite. I have had quite a few 1911s. My favorite is a Springfield stainless Mil-Spec that I upgraded.
Well I have been looking for another 1911 for carry. Did not want anything extravagant, just nice. So the past several days I have been scouting local gun stores and internet forums for 1911s. Just didn’t find anything I wanted…or that I could afford. I decided I liked the new TTT.
I love the stainless frame with the Nitron stainless slide. Beautiful wood grips. Also really like the night sights. Came home cleaned the factory lube off and it is so smooth now it is unbelievable. All the parts are fitted great. Trigger has no play or creep.

Good looking gun
That is an exceptionally attractive 1911. I like the grip panels, which look like maple with a very pronounced grain pattern. The dehorned treatment on the slide is good, as is the checkering on front and back straps of the grip. I wouldn't worry about the external extractor - most modern guns have an external extractor and they work fine.

That is one good looking pistol. I just decided to jump on the Sig bandwagon as well, but with the 226. Nowhere near as sexy as that thing!
