I'm more inclined to get the Tactical 45. I have a K9 (first year it came out) and a Tactical 9 (TP-9) which I love and after my BHP is finished at the 2nd round of work at Novaks it will prob be the TP-45 for me.

Recoil wise? If so, I don't think it'll be that bad....the slightly larger P45 is very easy to control.

I'd get one, but I already have the P45.

Yeah, recoil wise and otherwise. It wouldnt stop me from buying one, I love my PM9 and would consider the 40 but the 45 is right around the corner.

I haven't fired the PM40....I somehow think that would recoil more than any of the .45's.

    I love my PM9 and P9 Covert.

The PM40 is snappy, but if it is being used as intended, I dont care about snappy. I think my PM9 is about the perfect CCW.

I bet the PM45 will be a handful too. I had a PM40 and if it weren't so unreliable I would still have it. It was snappy too, but manageable and pretty accurate. I hope the PM45 will have a better track record.

I have two Kahrs , both in 9 by choice . I have shot the p 45 ( a bud has one ) for about 50 rounds , and while i am not opposed to having one i wont go shop for it either .

Don't know why the first thing someone mentions is the recoil. You are not going to be target shooting 100 rounds at a time. It's a carry weapon, i'm worried about weight, reliabitity, size and stopping power. Your not even going to notice the recoil when it comes down to it. Only concearn about the PM45 is going to be the same issues that the PM40 has--too much power on small parts, do researce on the pm40 and you will find alot of issues with mag release breaking, guide rod springs and FF's/FTF/FTE, i wanted one but after these reviews i'm not sure now.

I handled one at a Outfitter shoot in MO. I unfortunately didn't shoot it but listening to the guys (and gals) who did they liked it allot. Everyone said it kicked, but nothing they couldn't control/ handle. Seemed light compared to other compact .45s and fit the hand well. Several of the FFLs were trying to get the Kahr rep to put them on the list for pre-orders for their shops. A few holster makers were trying to gear up for it as well. Overall nice gun.

I can't wait, since my pm9 has been "abducted" by my g/f, the pm45 will definetly be mine.

I couldn't agree more! I find the .40's recoil to be "fast", whereas I think the .45 will be a handful, but I don't think to the degree that the .40 is.

But, I love my PM9, it is ideal. At least for my needs.
