    Waistband Derringer

    Hi folks,

I saw a little revolver on a TV show (The Unit) that had a slotted grip that slipped over the waistband of the guy's tuxedo pants and hung from the waistband inside the pants.

Does anyone know who makes this little gun?

    Thanks.

Ranger, from your description I suspect it is North American Arms. My BIL is a deputy sheriff and carries a .22LR with the grip shown on this page fourth item down.

Check out North American Arms, they make very high quality mini revolvers, they also make some great semi autos in 32acp and .380 as well as their own caliber 32NAA in the Guardian line.

Nope. That's not it. It didn't have a belt clip. In essense, the pistol grip was a belt clip. It was elongated with a slot to slide over the waistband.

Nope. That's not it. It wasn't an add on. It was part of the design of the pistol. The pistol had an odd shape to account for this "heanger" feature, incorporated into the grip.

Try these sites and see if anyone can identify the item.

    http://www.tv.com/the-unit/show/33480/summary.html

    http://www.tvguide.com/tvshows/unit/278693

Both sites have forums or discussions where question can be posted.
