I carry a Seecamp .32 in my front pocket. I highly recommend it.

If you are willing to go down to .380, I carry a Colt Mustang in a pocket holter made by Andrews. Also, sometimes in an el-cheapo pocket holster but I've forgotten the brand.

I wear it in the front pocket of ordinary blue jeans. To keep it from accidentally being seen, which so far hasn't happened, it helps (only as an extra precaution) to keep a white hankerchief stuffed into the top to the pocket.

I don't know about the various small 9 mm pocket guns and I've never tried the kel tec. The Colt will fire some hot ammo that the Kel Tec may not be able to handle.

Tried them all and the "best" all things considered (for me) is the Colt Mustang. Small enough for the pocket, but not too small to hang onto.

As of today, the Seecamp LWS380 is the smallest .380 auto DAO semi-automatic handgun currently manufactured in the World.

It has reached cult status and is considered to be THE Quintessential Pocket Carry Handgun For Personal Self-Defense.

The quintessential pocket carry handgun. Since that is the first time I've even seen a picture of one, and this is the first time I have had someone recommend it, I think that is a stretch. But, it looks good- something I'll have to look into. But, if it is actually smaller than the P3AT I'd be shocked if it was possible to shoot well at all.

Not surprised you've never seen a photo. Less than 1000 have been built since their conception in 2003. Everyone is hand fitted and hand polished. Except for the grips, the LWS380 (and LWS32) are 100% stainless steel.

They are definitely smaller than the Keltec and extremely accurate at CQB distances.

My Kahr and Glock as I'm sure you all does not have an external safety. I would like to carry something ready to fire w/a safety. Does anyone carry the Glock or Kahr with a round in the chamber. I am new at this. Thanks.

Almost all of us carry our weapons with a round in the chamber. If you don't pull the trigger, it will not go off. I personally carry a Glock 23 and/or a Kel Tec P3AT every day. Neither has a safety. There is always a round in the chamber of both guns.

If it's true that Seecamp hasn't made more than 1000 of the .380's, they are not truly an option. Kel-Tec P-3AT all the way.

Last years production numbers averaged about five LWS380s being built per week. It's a slow process when they're hand built.

Quality is never sacrificed at Seecamp. That's not an option!

Actually, the Seecamp in .32acp is the one that reached "Cult" status, the .380 may well equal that (and probably will) but only time will tell. I'd like to check out either one in person, though I'd prefer a .380 for that bit of ballistics edge. With that said, I've yet to see either in any of my local shops - I imagine what few, if any, come through get snapped up as soon as they come off the truck.
