Suprising range results with Kel-Tec P3AT
Went to the range and shot the P3AT on Monday. I have to say, even though this was by far the most uncomfortable gun to put almost 100 rounds through, I now have a lot of confidence with it for carry. I was very surprised at the accuracy considering how crude the "sights" are.
This is 80 rounds, mostly ball ammo but includes 15 shots with Hydra Shocks and 15 shots with Winchester Silvertips. Ranges were 3, 7 & 10 yards.
This is with the Glock 29. Two shots to the left are first two shots. I've never owned a Glock or a 10mm so I didn't know what to expect and I had a death grip on the gun and pulled them to the left. This is a total of 50 rounds shot at standard Texas CHL standards. (20) at 3 yards, (20) at 7 yards and (10) at 15 yards.
I'm happy with both. That 10mm is a hoot to shoot. First few rounds that I ripped down range had people backing out of there lanes and looking my way wondering what in the heck I was shooting. The look on their faces was priceless. :biggrin2:
I Use Silvertips In Mine...
And in 4 years I have never had a problem with my P-3AT..
I have never 'enjoyed' shooting it at the range!:nono:
Nice compact, easy to conceal, handgun...:hand10:
Stay armed...stay safe!
