Smile Should I? Keltec P11, cheap. Really cheap.

I kinda want it... but don't really *need* it, and I'd still want to get a P3AT afterwards anyway... but $125? It's so tempting. Someone please be my conscience and post up a reason I shouldn't buy it! I'll check in the morning.

For fun - ok, but i personally (and some on here will disagree), I don't think it's a good/reliable CCW. Several reports have it jamming due to ammo intolerance and you can tell by feeling it that the construction is about as cheap as they come. If my life depends on something, if I have my choice, I'd rather not have it depend on the cheapest thing I can find.

Caveat: I carry an XD .45 and PPK/S.

You could buy it and then sell it to Sixto for $50.

Ask if you can shoot it first. Make sure it doesn't have some oddball problem.

As long as you are comfortable buying from this person otherwise (i.e. the weapon is not stolen), yea then go for it.

JudgeW7, yea I don't blame how you feel. Whenever I look at one, I just keep scratching my head at the barrell that looks like it was made from a Coca-Cola can. But they are not all that bad.
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.

It's actually at my boss' pawn shop. I stopped by there the other day on my way home, and it was sitting in the case, tagged at $249. I had to shake my head and started to walk out, but then I figured I'd talk to the guy at the counter. Once he found out that we worked for the same guy, he looked it up on the computer to see what he had in it, and came back with $125 out the door for me.

I'm sure he still would make a profit. :P

I'm really thinking about a P3AT, though... I may have to pass the P11.

odds are you could buy it and then sell it for more than you paid, granted not the easiest way to fund your desired p3at but maybe not a horrible way either.

Yep... Good used P11s are in the 190 to 210 range.

I love my Kel-Tecs!!! Never an issue with any of them. Great, reliable, small, inexpensive CCW type of pistols. Nothing can touch the P11 for size, weight and firepower comination. 13rds of 9mm in a package that weighs 17oz dry, thats impressive.

Kel-Tek is great. I never leave home without mine. $125 is a heck of a deal!

Bought a P11 I have short stubby fingers. Trigger pull was terrible. Trigger bit into my index finger. Snap caps only got rid of it. I imagine the price reflects the quality. Seems like there is no grey area for P-11 You either love um or hate um. I would not buy a Kel-tec have a P32 Or I should say Kel-Tec still has it . Hammer would not fall after 20 rounds still at Kel-tec. They told me 2 weeks repair time now going on 4th week Still no p32. I might be the exception but they are flimsy and I would not trust my life to one. The only reason I purchased onewas due to all the rave reviews on this and othe sites. My mistake good luck
