I need to swap you girlfriends. Mine wants a Les Baer!!!!! The only way I can get her to shoot .22 is to promise many mags through my Baer.

I bought one of these on impulse; limited edition that came with both barrel sizes. With a Red Dot mounted it's a wicked looking pistol.
I enjoy mine but it's not accurate enough IMHO to hunt with like a ruger hunter. But it is an excellent starter pistol. My kids love it and you can teach clearing drills, reloading and all the things we do with a pistol because of it's configuration. With the 5" barrel it's not awful for accuracy. I've never had a problem with mine that wasn't soley and ammo problem. It shoots most brands but likes CCI Blazers a lot.
Anyway, I'd love to put a silencer on mine but they're totally illegal in Missouri, period. In some states you can pay the BATF I think about $250 and get one but not in missouri. I think it would be fund to plink with a silenced P22 with the Red Dot.
Anyway, I think she'll enjoy it!
