I went to put the Para-Ordnance Slim Hawg on lay-away today and the salesman talked me into purchasing a PT140. I wanted and will still get the Slim Hawg (my first .45) but he told me that for less than the $400.00 I was going to put down on the Hawg, I could walk out the door with a PT140 with a lifetime warranty. I was quite impressed when I ended up with a PT140 for $318.00...out the door.
I'll put some rounds through it this weekend and compare it to my Glock 33. Hopefully a whole lot less recoil.
I'm looking at this holster.

If the guns kill then pencils misspell words!
I would of, & did buy the PT145 Mil Pro. If yours is the Mil Pro, the trigger will seem different at first. But once you get the hang of it, I think you'll like it. It has a short re-set, too, like the Glock.
As to holsters, what does the Galco run? You can get a hand made one from UBG holsters probably for less (I have 3 of his holsters).
Well, have fun with your new gun.
