I live in the woods..... need the power. Plus this gun is light small to conceal, simple to use. Only drawback is 5 shots. But I have a backup one too!

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!

Seems that the majority favors the 1911, and so do I.

Picking only one would be hard, but I guess I'd have to go with the Smith & Wesson M&P9c.

My idea of THE ONE CARRY WEAPON has changed over the years. First, it was a S&W J-Frame, then the SIG P239-40, and currently it has evolved to the current state of the Glock G23C.
    Be Observant and Be Safe.

    Current: S&W 442, Springfield XD9sc, XDm9, and Glock G26, G19, G23C,
and SIG P226-40 TT, and Ruger GP-100, and Beretta 92FS
    Former: Taurus 92SS, SIG P220 TT, S&W 360, SIG P239-40, Ruger 22/45 MKII

As big a 1911 fan as I am I have to agree with the good doctor. There is nothing more reliable or easy to conceal as a nice lightweight J-frame. Loaded with +P short barrel loads and a couple speed strips or speed loaders you are good to go.
