If I have to pick from my current arsensal, then it'd be the Smith in my signature. Hands down the best of the two.

If I can pick any handgun in the world, no doubt in my mind a 4"bl. 357 royal blue Colt Python. THE most beautiful, hand fitted AND polished masterpeice of firearm art this world has ever produced.

I guess now I should tell ya how I really feel?

Colt .45 Defender. Easily hid. Big bullet. Very accurate to 50ft.

Only one? I'd have to go with a 4" or 4 1/4" 1911, large enough to provide decent accuracy, still slim and a bit shorter for easier year round concealment.

One of the reasons I like the 1911 is that the 4" guns can be a year round carry gun, and the mags are less bulky.

If were only talking one gun, it would have to be a "Do-it-all" gun and I think Commander sized 1911s fit the bill nicely.

Then again, my attitude may change once my Sig 220 SAO arrives, too bad Monday's a holliday probably won't be in till Tuesday.

I guess I am one of the few wheelgunners around. I've been carrying a S&W n-frame for years now, and due to my large size concealment has not been an issue. I started with a 4" 629, but now carry a 2.5" 629. If it were one of my guns I'd take my 2.5" barreled 629, but any 4" or less 29/629 would do. I also carry a J-frame in my front pocket, but the thread says only ONE.

Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything
