    Nice gun, good photos.
So the barrel takedown is with a hex key, hadn't noticed that before, is that common to any other manufacturers?

A hex key is required only to disassemble the recoil assembly. To field-strip a CombatMaster, no tools whatsoever are required.

Awesome pictures as always lunde!! You are the master of great firearm photography! I will readily admit that I do not know anything about Detonics USA firearms. What is the purpose of the location of the rear sight? I don't remember ever seeing a sight in that location.

The purpose of the rear sight's forward position is to ease thumb-cocking when it is carried hammer-down. Although I have yet to give her range time, The forward position of the rear sights seems to significantly aid in pointability, perhaps because it is closer to the trigger finger.

That is a good looking gun, and supurb pictures. I don't know that I like the sight radius being artificially short- thumb cocking doesn't make senst to me anyway- and I'd want a beaver tail on it. But, they didn't ask me for advice.

I need to get a better camera and some kind of light source. Seeing pictures like that makes me jealous.

One real nice plus of those ultra~crispy photos is that folks can see just how nicely the Detonics are being put together these days.

They are really putting out a super nice firearm.
