I want to get a 9mm for my small 'collection'. I absolutely love the 1911 frame and want to get a 9mm in that configuration. I am a lefty so have to have an ambi thumb safety and I would prefer a 4 in barrel with a full grip. Big hands. Any suggestions?

check out the Kimber Aegis line, they come in government, commander, and officer sizes I think? I have not handled them myself but they have been getting good write-ups in the gun magazines
