Kimber Ultra II in Black or Stainless (two tone)
I am going to buy a Kimber, and my heart is set on it, unless I get convincing evidence of it not being a good weapon. But, my question to all is which would be the better style to buy for concealment and comfort? Should the black ultra II or the two tone CDP? Also, all the ones I have looked at are around the 1000.00 to 1200.00 price range and mostly with the external extractor. Any help in making this decision would be greatly appreciated.

1st...welcome to the forum!
here's my $.02, my brother got a Kimber Ultra Carry II this past fall (supposed to be for his wife), both he and his wife are short in height and thin in build and they conceal it IWB with no problem, and its performed flawlessly

Both are good choices, I chose the CDP for myself.

I picked the CDP, and am very happy with it. It has a few features beyond just color. Carry melt treatment, front strap checkering, ambi safety, and yes, a stainless slide. I'm surprised you're only seeing external extractors. If it's new, it should have an internal extractor, unless it's been sitting on the shelf for a while.

Add in 800 rounds of ammo to break it in per Kimber's recommendation.
The CDP is the nicer weapon IMO.
