I am loving this gun as a carry piece! Weighs about the same as my Glock 26 but has a bigger bullet and hides as easy :)

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!

Well, when I first got her I had a few issues. Nothing major but her goes..........

Its a lightweight so there is alot more snap to the recoil. Nothing I wasnt expecting BUT several times I would squeeze the trigger and nothing. Nudge the thumb safety down and BANG. My guess was that the extra snappyness was causing the thumb safety to partially raise. Well under closer examination I could see that the thumb safety on the right side of the gun was resing ON the top of the grip. MAYBE that was actually pushing the safty UP a tad with the recoil.
I removed the safety and sanded a few miniuts to remove material. Reinstalled the grip and problem went away :)

BUT - I also had a few problems with the slide not closing completely on a round when in a firing sequence.

Called a local gun smith who has a great reputation. Problem was that the barrel was slightly too long on the side TWARDS the grip where the bullets are inserted. This caused the rounds to BIND.
$20 bucks later and a slight "throating" of the barrel and not she feeds anything I put in the magazine.

OH - she is spot on accurate if I am doing my job.
This gun carries liek a DREAM since its so light and packs a bigger punch than my G26 and is more comfortable concealed as well.

    I am a happy camper...

Man, that is a nice looking gun. I can't wait for my Para LTC lightweight Commander to get here. It's not as nice as yours, but it'll be mine soon!

Put your hands up and step away from the ultra sleek super cool A#1 1911 shoot'n iron. I'm confiscating it on account of jealousy!

or, care to trade a Colt officers and a Para P-12 for it? Hell, I don't need two anymore.

Loved the pic!!! I have one in the gunsmith's shop as we speak, being Bobtailed, new Beavertail and front strap Checkered.
