Glock 27 holster advice/pics

Hey guys going back to carrying a Glock 27 as my off-duty carry. Whats the best holster out there for IWB carry. Please post your opinions so that I can get a consensus and look into holsters I might not have thought about. Also post pics if you got em. Thanks!!

I don't know the name of it, but I use a nylon DeSantis holster. It has a pouch at the top, in which I carry a 15 round GLOCK magazine (for the mod. 22).

I've had this holster since I got the gun new in 1996. It's great. When not using it for IWB, it provides a safe means of carry in a bag.

I also like the Fobus paddle holster (it's not IWB, it's OWB, though) for carry under a cover garment. It's more comfortable for me than IWB is -- and FAR better gun access.

I find that the G-27 is more comfortable and just as easy to conceal in an OWB holster with the Def-Con from Gary Brommeland!

Welcome to the forum first of all.

I have a couple I use and make. Both have side protection to protect your side and the gun from your sweat.

The first is called a Minimal Snap.





Second one I like is called the Quick Change. Re-enforced top for one handed reholstering.

I've got a Brommeland Max Con on order for my G27. Also have Kahr K40 I carry IWB in a Mc Daniel II from Andrews Leather, very comfortable. Take a look at UBG Striker too.

I like the Milt Sparks Watch Six...because it doesn't have the reinforced mouth like the Versa Max it's thinner. $67 and a five month wait and you'll be happy!

For my G19 and my G23 I have on order a VM II. Both guns with fit this same holster. I have about one month to go. No better holster for IWB IMHO.

I have been using AKJ's IWB for about 4 month, and love it.

Nice price, and great folks to deal with. It is a small shop so if you order a custom made item it will take some time. Well worth the wait.

Wow, we seem to have some fundamental differences, here.

I'm not a fan of leather holsters. I prefer synthetic materials due to light weight, durability, resistance to chemicals/moisture/etc.

Also, some of those, like in the very first picture, look huge!

I also prefer to be able to easily take off an IWB holster without having to take off the belt or undo snaps. My DeSantis (again, don't know the model name) is great for those reasons. I'm sorry, but I don't have a camera to take pictures of it at this point.

The holster looks huge because I'm not very big!!!
