Please correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the SA Champion have a full size grip? I'm looking for the shorter Officer's grip frame (6-7 round capacity and easier concealability).

OH! Gotcha! It hides pretty well though even under a tee shirt!

I have the Ultra and the Pro...I looked quickly, and commented as though it was an Ultra (That is what I carry.)
However, the Compact is the best of both worlds...the 4" bbl of the Pro, and the shorter grip of the Ultra...

Was doing the exact same research process until last Thursday. Colt made a CCO and it just wasnt right for me. Colt also made a limited "Gunsite CCO" but stopped and their running about 1300 if you can find one (to me their the best CCO out there).

Wilson makes one, as does STI, Detonics and Kimber. Of all of those, the Kimbers are the most reasonably priced. Unless you go with the CDP (out of their custom shop and about the same price as a Colt Gunsite CCO) there is one current production and it is the Kimber Compact Stainless II. However if you search around you can find what I just bought last week and it is a Kimber Custom Compact II.

Oh if you want a true Colt CCO (not a Gunsite version) give me a PM as I know of someone who has access to a couple that are for sale.

The pic is with the stock grips. I actually changed them to Alumagrips shortly after the gun became my daily carry. Here is a later pic.
