You made a very good choice. I'm sure your XD will serve you well.
Wow! That 1911 is BEAUTIFUL..
Ooops.. Wrong gun... sorry..
The XD looks good too. Good buy. Have you been able to take it to the range yet? Where's the range report, man?![]()

I love my XD. Good choice. I carry an XD-40 Service much of the time. I could only find the sc in 9mm when I was looking more than a year ago, so I went with the 4". I still think about getting the sc.
I'll keep my freedom, my liberty, and my guns. You can keep the change.
Add me as one more person who loves my XD9SC!

Ok, I had a chance to get to the gravel pit where I do most of my shooting for a little while today and put about 200 rounds through my new XD40sc, and I am very pleased with it. The gun feels and shoots great in my hands and will be even better I think once I get the Pearce pinky extensions for the 9 round mags. The XD has a pretty good punch to it, even when compared to my 1911 .45, but it was very manageable for me and the other guy I was shooting with. The accuracy is also very good for a pistol with a 3" barrel and I was shooting some pretty decent groups right from the start. I think this will be a great carry pistol, and I look forward to my permit arriving in the mail so I can take a trip to Wally World with it and see how I feel with it out in public. On a side note, the guy I was shooting with today brought along his recently purchased G26, and after shooting my XD told me that he wished he had bought an XDsc rather than the 26. I also shot his 26 and I agree with him that the XD feels better to me than the Glock...my apologies to you Glock fans out there.![]()
Nice congrats!!!
