I have the PX4 Storm fullsize .40 and I am supremely impressed with its design and shootability. The compact would be great but I recently purchased the M&P 9c and it is a great gun.

I have been waiting to see this in the stores. I might have to add this baby to the collection. what is the projected going rate for this baby anyway?

Welcome to the club. I am impatiently putting off my next purchase until after I can get my hands on one of these puppies. I contacted Beretta directly about 6 weeks ago looking for a release date. They do not have a release date yet……..or at least they are not talking about it, other than “Sometime in the Summer of 2007”. That is all I could get out of them.

It has a 3” barrel. It also has a conventional tilt barrel; not a rotating barrel like the full size Px4. The pre-release MSRP is currently set $575, so I am just guessing it might be available for about $450 after the initial sales rush. Just a hunch.

I have not yet seen any magazine previews/reviews, and I keep a look out for them. If anyone sees any reports, please post a link for me as well.

Its due out this summer, very soon.
I believe i heard that the August issue of Guns & Ammo has a cover story on it. Could have been another mag, not quite sure.

I'm shopping for a subcompact. Very close to getting a 9 or 40 XD (since I'm so pleased with my 45 service). Now I may have to be more patient and see how this pistol works out.

Sleek/cool looking design. Hope the price is right and the quality is way up there.

Beretta is notorious in being a day (or 100) late and a dollar short in releasing products....that said....they are usually excellent products.

If they claimed late Summer as they did to me during the 2007 SHOT Show....expect mid to late Winter.

If they show up sooner, I will be very (happily!) surprised.

    No reviews yet Tallon....sorry.
