My first Kel-Tec PF9 range report and first glock experience

I finally made it out to the range Friday to give her a test. I shot ~85 rounds and had two feed malfunctions. They occurred back to back, and to tell the truth, the second was just because I didn't put the magazine all the way back in (doh!) To be fare, I didn't take it apart and thoroughly clean and lube it prior to shooting, I hit it with some Remi-Oil and went for it (I know, I know).

All in all I am happy with the gun, I feel comfortable with it in a defensive situation, however it isn't one I want to spend a lot of time with on the range. Lets just say it isn't all that fun to shoot, but for an affordable concealable weapon with plenty of stopping power, I'd recommend it.

I also shot the 357, 45, and rented a glock 17. This was the first time I'd ever shot a glock and it will definitely take some getting used to if I decide to purchase one. Before I decide, I need to put quite a few more rounds through a rental and decide if I actually like it or not. I'm kinda partial to the 1911 right now.

If you're a 1911 guy who's thinking of a Glock, you might want to shoot an XD as well before you decide. It has a grip angle more like a 1911 and has a grip safety built in as well..

    I sure enjoy mine!
