    Concerns on Ruger P345

I've read on the Ruger site that if you dry fire a 345 without a mag the mag safety plunger will get bent and you will have FTF's.
Is it a hard thing to remove the mag safety and is it wise to do?

I have no idea how to remove the magazine disconnect on a P345. As to the wisdom of doing this, that's up to you.....

But why would you want to dry-fire without a magazine in the pistol?

...I do so I can rack the slide while the trigger is still fully pressed so I can train with recognizing the trigger reset.

I'm a firm believer in not messing with a gun's factory installed safeties.

    +1 on that , srfl.
Perhaps snap caps might be a better way to easily dry fire your Ruger?

Loosen the screw that holds the rear sight. Slide off the sight.

Remove the mag safety on the left side (facing the rear of the gun).

Leave the trigger safety where it is on the right side. Put the sight back on and screw it down. (Not sure my terms are correct but you should get the idea.)

This took me about 15 minutes when I first did it. I suggest you look at the Ruger parts list for the 345 and that will show you what you want to remove.

Mine has not failed to ignite a round since I removed it. - Before, I randomly would get "NO STRIKES" where the primers were not touched when the hammer fell. - and I never dry-fired it.
