If you don't mind my asking, where did you find anyone selling any grips for the 245? Sig doesn't have any listed on their web site and a search turned up nothing that I can find.

As to your question, I don't know for sure but I'll try a couple of guesses. 1. Sig is now manufacturing the 220 Compact and they may be referring to this as the "new" style and the 245 as the "old" style. In viewing pictures, the guns look identical with the exception that the 220 Compact has an extended beavertail. 2. Some of the Sigs had a European mag release (at the bottom of the mag well) but I don't know if the 245 was ever manufactured like that. If it was, they could be using that as the difference, though I've only seen it referred to as a "European" or "U.S." mag release.

Hey dude, I searched too, and couldn't find anything....wish I would have gotten to you earlier, I believe the grips that are on it are the new style. I could never determine what the differences were between the two though.

Sorry about that. I don't like PMs as I don't always get to check the various forums I watch and may miss a PM. I prefer email and thought I had it enabled but didn't. It is now.

    Thanks,
