    Pt 140 question

    Ok, so I was at my grandparents house last night and did a little shooting. In all 40 rounds in about 2 1/2 mintues. Afterwards the little gun was HOT!! I mean I'am aware that that heat is created during the shoorting process. But, I'm talkin fry an egg hot. Is omething wrong??

    Sounds fine to me, some of my handguns get a little hot too, they smoke where any stray lube is heating up, I just let them cool down before I put them in the bag, don't want anything melting onto the slide...

    If you go shooting and the Gun doesn't get hot... you gotta speed it up a little! A hot gun just means you had a blast. I remember burning my hand bad on a barrel after we gave it a bit of exercise. Took weeks for it to heal.. luckly it was on my non-dominate hand.
