Another Carry Option
when dressed in shorts and a pull over shirt, here in this HOT and
HUMID Alabama climate. This is the new Kahr polymer frame CW-9
single stack 9m/m. I bought one, and last Saturday it proved its-self
on the firing range; shooting all types of bullets MC, JHP's, and even
my Magnus 122-grain hard cast L-SWC's without a bobble~!
At 18.5 ozs. its hard too beat when running a "honey do"
errand to the grocery store~!
Certainly very good for weight Dan ....... which is something useful when pocketed. I guess also pretty good dealing with sweat.
Pretty humid up here now some days and I sure would not be wanting to take care of a blued gun!!
Those little Kahrs sure are tempting, there's just so many guns on my "gotta have it" list that I haven't gotten one yet. What's your primary carry mode for this one: IWB, OWB, pocket?
Greeting's Jack My Friend-
Its new, so I have only "range proofed" it; but ut fits nicely in my
Kirkpatrick Compact Undercover Rig, that I had made for my Kimber
Stainless Ultra Carry. Most of the time when running errands for the
wifey, I "Mexican carry" this little gem~!
Dan you are killing me. I am adding weapons to my must have list everyday and it is exceeding my paychecks :yup:
I looked at one when I was checking out the XDs, they are nice looking and feel good.
I dont have a cw , but do love both my p9 and pm9. Normaly i carry both , but depending on circumstances and dress you might find me occationaly with either or lol .
Hey, Dan, where are you in Alabama? I'm in Perry County. I will be posting some pictures of my wife's Kahr CW9 later tonight. She had bought a Glock 27, but she, like me, decided that she doesn't like .40S&W. The grip on the Glock bothered her to. A policeman here in town had a CW9 and she tried it out. If you can believe it at about 9:30 pm on the police range which is not lighted. The LEO and I held flashlights on a silhouette target from about 10 feet either side of her. She could not see the sights, but could tell when the blade lined up with the opening in the rear sight. With this configuration she put 7 rounds around the A at COM from 25'. She then traded the Glock for the Kahr. She shot it again Sunday and after 5 tries has finally found the pistol she really likes.
