Picked up a little monster today.

While at the range today I picked up this pocket gun. It's a Rossi .357 2" and really packs a punch! the price was right (under 300). it's not a tack driver by any means... but it's not meant to be. keep in pocket or glove box and not have to worry about appearance.

Handy lil' Monster Grips look real nice.

It will serve well - but maybe limit huge thruput of hot loads so as not to loosen it up too much. Be a great carry piece

Most of time I'll use .38 wadcutters for making little holes in paper. but I also have some .38 +p Hydro-shocks, and of coarse .357 mag.
keeping to just two calibers makes it easier also.

I'll bet it is a tackdriver - you just have to hit the tack...

    Can't go wrong with a .357 snubby.

And theres nothing like have a gun that you won't mind beating up, that's why I bought my Smith 642, it's my travel gun, lock it in the car gun, and my summer gun during working hours.

I am actually a better shot with my Rossi 461 than my S&W 638. I have found that especially with single action it can be quite accurate.

Those grips do a pretty good job of soaking up recoil from .357 loads too. Lots and lots of .38's and .357's though mine, no problems as of yet.

I think they look nice in their own ugly way.

Nice looking pistola! I'm going to be looking for a 2" .357 in August as a car gun or "just to be different" carry piece. I hope I find a bargain like that!
