My Colt Gold Cup. It is the best shooting pistol I own. After putting 100rds through her I was in love.

Sorry I can't just pick one.

Some day I hope to have them all.

No pic here, see the great ones in the site's E-zine review under the Nighthawk category. The Nighthawk T3 pretty much does it for me. I could be very, very, happy with that gun. If I had a lot of money, I'd have a lot of 1911s, and that one would be number one on the buy list.

That's like you asking me which is my favorite kid.

    My favorite carry gun is:

The crown jewel of the collection is:

Since they are unlikely to let you know ahead of time when, where and how violent they're going to be, you should always be prepared.' - matiki

If I could have ANYTHING I wanted it would be this...
The Wilson Combat CQB Compact (sigh, drool, drool)

But for now, I'll stick with what I've got....

Arguably, this one has to be my favorite:

    This is one reason why:

The blue one here is my EDC. It has undergone a few aesthetic and one function change:

    Mine!

    Sorry, I just couldn't resist.

I carry a Springfield Armory Gov't Model. Nothing nearly as pretty to look at as some of the pictures you guys have posted. But it works!

I am kinda partial to the SA 1911 Champion since it was my first 1911. I would really like to have a TRP and have been budgeting to make this dream a reality. If I ever have a Wilson Combat CQB Compact in my hands, I've probably died and went to Heaven.

    Favorite 1911 - Colt Gold Cup .45

I have been a fan of Colt Gold Cups for a long time. These are the target models with adjustable sights and slightly better fit and finish. I have several, but my favorite is my oldest, a pre-series 70 model made in 1968. I bought it used about 17 years ago, and have shot it frequently at the range. It is both reliable and accurate.

    Talking '44 Ithaca

I'd have to say that my favorite 1911 in my ownership would have to be my 1944 Ithaca 1911A1 seen in this thread:

    http://www.defensivecarry.com/vbulle...ad.php?t=22763

Of the ones I don't own, I'd have to go with a Commander length Nighthawk Custom.
