    Why doesn't my ?? perform as good as a 1911 ?

Now folks this is a humor post , and lets keep it light .

My kahrs cost a lot of money and the dammed things wont shoot as good at 35 yards as my last kimber 1911 did , i am offended . In fact i am so offended that i just spent as much money on a used ( police trade in ) hk p7 as i could have bought a fine 1911 for .. will it shoot as well ? Note that i will only hang onto it for a year or two and shoot a bit before i send it off for a refinish and have a bbq gun .. ( i am thinking a mix of high polish black nitride , and hard chrome with gold accents .. if i get wealthy i may have it engraved . It may not work with all the changes but will look dammed fine in a holster LOL .

I fired one yesterday for the first time ever, a P7M8. It was pretty darn slick, I'm starting the "begging phase" all ready to get one.

I had no issues other than the slide stop.

To release the slide, you just squeezed the cocker which was super cool.

Accuracy was great and recoil was nil.

Now that would be interesting to see one of those all "pimped" out. I got the crazy itch to do something similar to my Makarov. Would it make it shoot better? No, but it would be different and look nice. I say go for it, and keep us posted on it.

Bud its on order , rest assured i will post pics when it arrives . Its my first online purchace so its something to take my mind off some of the hospise things i am doing right now . an example of what i expect for the grade i ordered would be

I really dont expect to be any more excited with this pistol than a 1911 , but its one that will go in my personal " dont trade or sell " pile lol .

Everybody seems to agree that the p7 is amazing , its amazingly accurate , its amazingly complex , it heats up amazingly fast , its amazingly expensive .. ect .. If it will shoot well i will keep it just because they dont make them any more .. if it dont shoot well for me then i will sell it , and no not on this forum ,or any other where folks actualy need a gun to work .

The only problem I know of with the P7 pistols is that nobody has given me one!

Let's see--- gold trigger, gold cocker, ivory grips, hard chromed slide, and royal blue frame. Now to find a interesting holster and belt with matching engraving that you are thinking of. You could take that to any BarBQue that I can imagine.
