I'm prolly biased, but I love my OD Green. I get compliments from whoever I show it to. Only problem is having trouble finding extra spacers for the extended mag. And look at the votes...be unique!

I prefer black. It tends to be less visible. Even if my cover garment does open up, the gun is in the dark shadows. If I feel the need at night to unholster my weapon I can still keep it relatively concealed by holding it near my leg, in my lap, etc., with less "flash" to be noticed like the SS, Chrome, Two-Tone models might be prone to.
Black is my choice but everyone is entitled to theirs.

I've had this debate with a friend for while now, shiny vs black. I like the idea of having a chromed/ bi-tone because if I ever had to pull it I want the BD to have no doubt that it is a real gun. In the dark, (e.g. parking garage) all black is harder to see and someone gutsy enough might think it's a stungun/toy/something else. Espcecially for my wife's CCW, if she jumps into proper shooting stance with an obvious gun, you know she means business and only a nut would stand his ground.
Alternatively, my friends argument is that a shiny gun sticks out in the night giving away your position. While I can see that in a military/LEO sidearm, IMO you shouldn't ever be stalking someone with a CCW piece. Even if armed, flight should be your first choice if available.

My Colt officers is all black
My Para P-12 is all black
My Glock 23 is all black
My Colt .38 super is all black
My 3 Ruger revolvers are stainless
My XD9sc is OD... I just wanted something different and thought the OD frame and black slide looks cool. No other reason.
I don't think it's better camoflaged or anything. Not a fashion statement, I just like the color combo to break up the boredom of all black or all stainless.
