    1969 P35 Belgian Browning

    I just acquired this one from a gent in Texas for short money. I've been looking for the small sights/ring hammered model for more than a few months now. I didn't buy this one to carry or use, but to get one of these back into the safe [ I've had several over the years ].

    It is mechanically original, comes with a new wolf 18# recoil spring, thin black micarta grips added and 2 original 13rd mags.

    That is a great looking Hi-Power and a good example of a classic pistol. My problem with it is that I'd have it out to the range for a fun afternoon's shooting.

    bmcgilvray;

    Very nice Browning, Brownie!

    Kinda has a ring to it, doesn't it?

    "Forum envy", that's what it is. Looking at AzQkr's excellent photos makes me have it too.

    I wouldn't have to buy another one now if I had kept the twin to it from the early 70's I had at one time.

    That one had an FBI package done to it with Hardchrome from a Fla outfit afterwards around 1997. Certain feds at one time were issued two of them on HRT units and I had mine duplicate theirs features exactly.

    This one just reduces the anguish I've had since selling the other one to a good friend of mine who bugged me for it relentlessly. I'm off to Fla tomorrow to train a PD down there, and it should be at the shop and in my hands the day I get back.

    Captain Crunch,

    Brownies Browning, yup, it does have a ring to it doesn't it?

    Thanks for the comments on this one folks.

    Stay sharp out there

    Very nice. I sure like my 1966 Browning Hi-Power. Thank you John Browning.

    That's nice classic, and no matter what you'll always enjoy it.
