    SS Brown Kobra Karry

    is just in at my gunsmith's. I have some cool Esmeralda grips that will go on its bobtailed grip. No slide markings, of course. Picking it up tomorrow. Keith at www.kwbsales.com is great to work with!

    Holy Cow Bozo... That is some sweet pop gun! And what a thing of beauty. I like the blued with the wood grips... but that's just my personal taste... The guns are all way too cool.

    Can't wait for a range report and pics of that beauty in your hot little hands!

    I will take some photos with the new grips and post them proudly. I am thinking of joining a Dallas pistol club with an outdoor range. I am tiring of the indoor range that I spend time in. Too confining; can't wear a holster and people poppin' caps right next to you!

    Great choice!!! You will not be dissapointed.....one of the finest 1911's you could buy. The bobtail is a + for CCW and you will find it to be one of the most reliable and accurate 1911's out there. It will perform as good or better than custom pistols costing a lot more.
    I've had mine for quit some time now and simply love it!

    Congratulations! That's one of the top three guns on my dream list, the others being a Les Baer TRS and Wilson Combat SDS. Excellent choice, pics and a full range report are a must!

    Will it get carry time or is it going to be strictly a range gun?
