    New Glock Model?

I know that it's 7 months away, but I've heard rumors that Glock will unveil a new model at the Shot show, a real gun, not just new frame colors. any guesses? what would you hope for?

I would hope for a model just like the current ones, but with interchangeable backstraps so that I could reduce the bulge at the rear bottom of my 22's grip. If they did that, I'd trade the 22 that has only 150 rounds through it for a "new 22" with a switchable backstrap.

Of course, that's just conjecture. I have no idea what is going to be released, and whether backstraps have anything to do with it.

I just hope that, since it's GLOCK, that it's something that appeals to me, and not a waste of my time. I love GLOCK and don't want to see the one new product in a dog's age come out and have it be lame.

I'd like to see a thinner 26/27 more like the Sig 239.

Their last new model was the 21SF. That didnt turn out to be all that innovative- a great idea for sure they just fell short of making it... short. The grip was reduced, but not nearly as much as an aftermarket reduction.

So what would I hope for? a .357magnum. how about a single stack 9mm or .40s&w like the .45 is in the G36.

I can't be the only one wishing for customizable backstraps/grips!

IF it's true I'd like to see some type of long gun from Glock.

Yea, I'm with Bud. There have been rumours for a long time. While the 21SF was a change it wasn't a new gun.

Going with the thought, however, I'd like to see a small single stack .40, interchangeable backstraps (there you go Jeffrery), and a second strike capability.

IMO Glock needs to come out with something new. Actually I don't think they really need to but I think part of the reason guns like the XD sell is because they are "new" and the Glocks are not.

I think a single stack in all calibers would be great for CCW and for the peoplewho do not need that double stack of ammo. I would buy it. Especially after seeing the new Walther pps.

I think you'll see a single stack 26/27/33 frame type gun emerge..

I have Glock's single stack .45, the G-36; it fits my hand and conceals very well for me.
I would like to see a single stack 9mm, too...I'd buy it for sure!

    Long slide Glock?

How about a Glock with a really, really long slide and barrel?

It's going to be the long awaited Glock carbine, of course.

I heard it was going to be a three barreled .45

They're phasing out the FlintGlock to allow for it.

Seriously though, I would expect Glock to add the backstrap feature, everyone else seems to be. They might take on Kahr with some single stacks too, especially if they feel that limited capacity mags are coming back.

I've long thought single stack versions of the 26 and maybe even the 19 would be hot sellers but I could see a bullpup carbine doing really well too - something like the Beretta CX4 but using Glock mags would be high on my gotta have list. I'd prefer a 9mm but the .40 would likely sell well also.
