    Last time we were there, there wasn't one in the case I don't think. He just makes a few for the shop, though and doesn't sell anywhere else. If you want a Mercury all you have to do is call him, tell him exactly what you want and he will make you one. He has a very small shop.

    I carried an old school Detonics MC-1 Combatmaster many years ago.

    They were great little guns..reliable, good sights, decent triggers...real oddities on the market back then.

    The reasoning behind the forward positioning of the rear sight was to allow you to carry the gun in Con 2 and thumb cock more easily. Thanks, but no thanks.:)

    I may have to pick up one of these new Detonics simply for the nostalgia.
