I have the EMP in layaway and can hardly wait to get it out. I have a WartHawg that's a great lil pistol. Para makes a Slim Hawg that is single stack. I'll say this to the ones that say a less than 4" 1911 is a problem. My Hawg has never failed to go boom when I pull the trigger, even double taps or rapid fire.

actually i was talking to someone about the whole "less than 4" = problem for 1911" thing. he said that its true for a 45 but not at all for a 9. im sure some ppl have had problems. but somebody out there is going to have had a problem with every gun out there. especially new. thats what warranties are for. im not concerned.
