    Got a new pistol...

I added a new pistol to my small but growing collection. I am now the proud owner of a brand new Springfield XD40 subcompact. Bought it from a friend that bought it brand new...he never even shot it. This is my first .40 cal....can't wait to shoot it.

Wish I could stumble onto a 40SC. Looked long and hard around here and kept coming up dry. Enjoy it.

Congrats on the new XD40, let us know how it shoots!

Congrats on the new gun. I think you will like .40 cal. It can grown on you rather quickly.
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.

My wife predicts that you will love it. Her EDC gun in an XD .40sc. I like it too.

    You made a good decision.

Congrats. My XD9SC has been great. Pretty much a rule of thumb that an XD will treat you well.

    Thumbs up

You're gonna love that XD, until you get a MS VMII. I had to re-radius my ejection port due to it hanging up on threads on the draw. You'd expect more from a holster maker that makes you wait 6 months and the holster doesn't work well The MS guy said "Lotsa sharp edges on that gun".

Get them full size XD mags w/AG adapter as your spare. Easier to conceal the short mag and reload with the full size.
