I'm thinking hard about getting one as soon as they hit town. The diminutive size and weight definitely has my attention.
It appears to be a perfect carry weapon in 45acp.
Any commentary would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I've had one since last April. It's a great summer carry gun due to the slim size. The only problem I have with it is getting a blister on the mound of my thumb after shooting 180 230 gr FMJs at one range visit without wearing my shooting glove! Do give it about 200 rounds to break in; after that, just enjoy! PS get the one with night sights!

I have a PM9 and with full defensive loads, it can start to hurt after a while.
I would like to try the 45 and compare it. I may even drool over it till i get one.
How did you accomplish that? I thought they hadn't entered the stream of commerce yet?
Can't be worse than firing my LWS380. I have absolutely no concerns with felt recoil. Reliability and Concealability is paramount with me. The weight factor makes it very appealing.
But your commentary is definitely appreciated.!

Looked at one last week. The grip was just slightly too long to pocket carry or I'd have been all over it.

One of Kahrs PM series is definately on my list to acquire. Right now, the rest of my pistols are .40's, so I might go with that model, but the PM45 definately has my attention, and I want one...
now to find that job...

I called my local Dealer today and he told me that his Distributor is waiting to recieve about fifteen PM45's in the next 14 days.
I ordered mine today with the hope and anticipation that I'll take possession in less than 3 weeks.
Time to sell the CombatMaster...,.. and call Mr. Brommeland.

Probably confusing a P-45 with the PM model.
What are the street prices like on these pre-orders?
Retail on this weapon is $814.00. My deal was sub $700.

yeah, I saw that price
I can't see spending that much on that weapon, for that price I'd rather get a HK compact 45but to each their own
